Job summary

MRO is seeking an Area Supervisor to coordinate daily scheduling of ROI Specialists at client sites, ensuring activities comply with client policies, and with federal and state regulations.

You will liaise between MRO and Client Management, oversee on-site workflows across Mount Zion Hospital, Mission Bay Hospital, and Children’s Hospital Oakland, and support payroll and performance reviews under the Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's/Associate degree in HIM or related field preferred.
• 1 year supervisory/management experience in acute care.
• HIPAA privacy standards knowledge required.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manages on-site workflow among ROI Specialists at multiple client sites.
• Adjusts work assignments to cover peak periods, leave, and vacancies.
• Provides coverage during backlogs, illness, or PTO.
• Performs quality assurance monitoring of ROI Specialists.
• Conducts productivity and performance reviews under Area Manager guidance.
• Manages employee schedules and approves bi-weekly payroll including PTO.
• Promotes professional conduct and responsive customer service.
