Job summary

QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, seeks a Referral Management Center Specialist to support our healthcare team at a Military Treatment Facility. You will handle referral inquiries, schedule appointments, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in medical administration, strong computer skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• One year of administrative experience in a medical setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Background checks and badge access may be required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients and staff with referral questions.
• Review and process referrals for completeness and eligibility.
• Schedule and reschedule specialty appointments per MTF guidelines.
• Process routine, urgent, and emergent referrals within timeframes.
• Coordinate referrals with outside providers or insurance when needed.
• Maintain accurate referral documentation in required systems.
• Educate patients on referral procedures and timelines.
