Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Program Project Coordinator to partner with Transportation Services, Grounds, and Facilities Operations. You’ll coordinate projects, support programs, and work with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and service delivery across Stanford Health Care locations.

Under the Manager’s direction, you will assist in managing project scopes, financials, HR processes, purchasing, inventory, and communications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two to five years of experience interacting with clients, customers and/or patients in a complex environment.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of hospital and clinic organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordinator: Manages reporting and ensures resources are used effectively; coordinates project activities and keeps phases documented.
• Leadership: Manages individual projects, presents results, and leads workshops and committee meetings.
• Administrative Support: Oversees administrative processes and workflow within Stanford Hospital and Clinics.
• Human Resources & Recruitment: Provides policy/procedure guidance; coordinates hiring and orientation of new employees.
• Supplies and Inventory Management: Oversees equipment and supplies allocation; tracks inventory and cost management.
• Events Coordinator: Plans and manages events.
• Department Support: Coordinates cross-department requests and serves as STAR representative, ensuring resources reach the right place.
• Other Duties: Participates in additional projects as assigned.
