Job summary

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business seeks an Assistant Director to design, deliver, and improve healthcare program initiatives within the Tolan Center. You will partner with multiple departments, manage a portfolio of programs, and support alumni and external stakeholders.

The role is hybrid, based at Hyde Park with travel to the Gleacher Center and off-campus events. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored employment authorization, and offers 37.5 hours weekly with a

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Less than 2 years of work experience in a related discipline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Manages a suite of healthcare programs from inception to completion.
Creates, schedules and publishes digital and social media content to promote center programming.
Manages events logistics including speakers, registration, venue, catering, travel, and staffing.
Supports fellowship program selection and event resources.
Liaise with student groups to plan programming.
Coordinate with offices to identify partnerships and market programs.
Process travel reimbursements, payments, budgets, and financial systems.
Use data to inform program decisions and develop surveys.
Assist with refining new programming initiatives.
Represent the center at meetings and events.
Quality assurance reviews and process improvements.
Perform other related work as needed.
