Job summary

The Associate Director, Student Experience at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business oversees day-to-day operations for the Specialized Masters Programs, including events, budgeting, and communications. The role also provides 1:1 career coaching and develops employer relations for early career opportunities.

Requires 5–7 years in related fields, bachelor’s degree, and experience in higher education. Hybrid schedule with in-person weeks in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of related work experience in program management, operations, or student support.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Coaching, advising, or mentoring students with employer relations or recruiting coordination experience.
• Proficiency with LMS/SIS tools (Canvas, Campus Groups, Slate, Workday).

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations for SMP events, including logistics and vendor coordination.
• Develop and apply career coaching and employer outreach best practices.
• Support student life programming and community-building activities.
• Manage calendars, communications, and coaching appointments.
• Coordinate job postings and employer sessions for the SMP programs.
