Job summary

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is seeking an Assistant Director to support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of center programs such as the Healthcare Speaker Series, Healthcare Fellowship Program, and alumni events.

The role partners with multiple departments, sustains stakeholder connections, and advances the Tolan Center’s priorities in a hybrid Hyde Park setting with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Education: college/university degree in related field.
• Work Experience: < 2 years in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manages a suite of healthcare programs from inception to completion.
• Creates, schedules and publishes digital content to promote center programming.
• Manages events logistics including speakers, registration, venue, travel and on-site/virtual staffing.
• Supports fellowship program activities and related events.
• Liaises with student groups to plan and deliver programming.
• Coordinates with Alumni Relations, Career Services, Admissions, and others for collaboration opportunities.
• Processes travel reimbursements, payments, and contract requests.
• Tracks expenses and maintains budgets.
• Uses data to inform program decisions and evaluations.
• Represents the center at meetings and events.
