Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Branch Coordinator to support patients and caregivers by phone and in person, delivering excellent service and ensuring orders are received and processed accurately.

You will verify insurance, obtain authorizations, process payments, and work with the branch team to bill appropriately, while maintaining strong communication and attention to detail in a healthcare setting. The role offers hourly compensation and benefits, with opportunities to impact patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No certificates, licenses, or registrations required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls on a multi-line phone system and assist patients.
• Create and process new orders and review multiple systems to assist customers.
• Confirm delivery appointments and verify insurance.
• Obtain authorizations of equipment per payor guidelines.
• Monitor faxes and perform data entry.
• Gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines.
• Request health plan authorizations as needed; electronically or verbally.
• Bill health insurance plans by obtaining referral documentation.
• Collect payments and reconcile daily receivables; submit to lock box.
• Conduct outbound patient or referral satisfaction calls.
• May download data from devices like apnea monitors and CPAP equipment.
• May perform basic functional tests on respiratory devices.
• Perform other duties as required.
