Job summary

Protege is expanding its partnerships organization and seeks a Partnerships BDR to source and refresh a pipeline of healthcare data partners. You will map the market, identify data holders, and drive outbound and inbound triage to generate qualified opportunities for our healthcare partnerships team.

You will work with Marketing and Data Lab to align on market segmentation, prioritization, and strategic fit, and to hand off opportunities for deeper qualification and activation.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, partnerships, market development, or outbound sourcing in a fast-moving environment, ideally with existing relationships and experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a targeted pipeline of prospective healthcare data partners across key modalities and market segments.
• Map the market to identify data holders, strategic contacts, channel partners, brokers, and other high-leverage sourcing paths.
• Support the development of a segmentation and prioritization framework for prospective partners.
• Stay on top of market and industry trends and communicate relevant insights for prioritization in sourcing.
• Prospect into new partners via outbound email, calls, LinkedIn, referrals, conferences, and events.
• Run first-touch discovery conversations to assess dataset quality, licensing posture, and scalability.
• Evaluate opportunities for fit, data relevance, and potential value for Protege.
• Create concise handoff briefs to move qualified partners quickly into evaluation and deal work.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and surface dashboards and sourcing metrics.
