AdaptHealth in the United States is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to oversee patient care operations and drive process improvements across teams. You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, monitor metrics, and support training to elevate service quality.

The role requires strong healthcare operations experience, knowledge of HIPAA, and the ability to work with leadership on staffing and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent not required, but strong healthcare ops background preferred.
• Four years of healthcare operations or similar experience.
• Experience in management, admin, billing, or call center roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members in daily operations, including complex case resolution and escalations.
• Lead team meetings and onboarding/training to develop staff.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching and continuous improvement guidance.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and regulatory questions.
• Drive process improvements and workflow optimization to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Maintain HIPAA and regulatory compliance knowledge to guide decisions.
• Analyze and report on team performance and trends.
