Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to support the Operations Team across regions, provide subject-matter expertise, train new hires, mentor staff, and, when needed, deliver and set up medical equipment in patient homes. You will supervise teams, lead meetings, monitor performance, and drive process improvements while ensuring Medicare, payer policies, and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong communication, data review, and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Solid ability to learn new technologies and understand data flow between systems.
• General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plan methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in daily operations and handle complex cases; act as escalation point for issues.
• Lead team meetings, onboarding, and ongoing training for operations and client engagement teams.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching to improve productivity.
• Develop and implement process improvements and workflow optimization.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling and resource allocation with management.
