Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to support regional operations, mentor the team, and ensure compliance with Medicare and insurer requirements. The role may involve delivering and setting up medical equipment. Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and communication skills are essential.

You will oversee process improvements, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with management on staffing and efficiency initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license in residence.
• Experience in healthcare admin, billing, claims, or insurance.
• Experience with health care organizations or Medicare/Medicaid environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide team members in daily operations and complex case resolution.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training for operations and client engagement teams.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching as needed.
• Develop and implement process improvements and refine procedures.
• Coordinate staffing needs, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Optionally deliver and set up medical equipment and travel as required.
