Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the health care field, with 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• General business skills including budget preparation, staff development and training.
• Knowledge of managed care requirements.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Selects, hires and supervises staff; conducts annual performance appraisals.
• Coordinates orientation and ongoing training for staff.
• Develops staffing plans and schedules to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Ensures adequate productivity and proper billing activities.
• Develops and updates departmental policies in collaboration with Ambulatory Leadership.
• Oversees patient satisfaction activities and interdepartmental communications.
• Manages annual budget for the site and monitors financial performance.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies and infection control standards.
• Oversees on-site medical records and scheduling processes.
