Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to support delivery of high-quality patient experience.
• Proficient in using Computer Software Applications (MS Office & EMRs).
• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Create a positive work environment; support in-office clinician and staff engagement activities to promote LFST culture.
• Provide strong customer service, responding quickly to patient needs and managing difficult situations.
• Communicate with peers, clinicians, and patients to support patient care and clinician satisfaction.
• Patient Support: Assist clinicians with necessary patient care tasks including prior authorizations, lab orders, and records requests.
• Facilitate communication between patient, medical staff and pharmacy.
• Manage phone systems and provide patient support for medication questions, refill requests, and appointment changes.
• Ensure accuracy of patient pharmacy information in the medical record.
• Scan all hard copy correspondence into EHR.
• Assist patients with telehealth access and Patient Portal issues.
• Triage urgent requests and escalate as needed.
• Assist in coordination of external referrals for patient care.
• Clinician Support: Provide administrative duties and coordinate with clinicians on patient questions.
• Aid in termination processes for patients as needed.
