Job summary

LifeStance Health is hiring a Medical Services Coordinator in Austin to coordinate medical care and support patients and psychiatric clinicians. This role ensures quality customer service for in-person and remote patients and clinicians.

The position offers a starting wage of $21.00/hour with potential quarterly bonus/incentive. Requires high school or equivalent; healthcare operations experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Multitask and prioritize duties to support delivery of high-quality patient experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office & EMR systems, with HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: foster positive work environment and engage clinicians and staff.
• Patient Support: assist clinicians with prior authorizations, lab orders, records requests, and coordination.
• Phone systems & telehealth support: answer calls, assist with access, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Clinician Support: provide administrative assistance and coordinate with clinicians on patient questions.
