Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Clinical Coordinator to support our Medical Assistants in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will oversee the MA staff and collaborate with office Nursing Leadership and the Practice Manager to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• Education in management or healthcare administration preferred.
• Credentialed MA where applicable and CPR-certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of MA staff.
• Maintain scheduling, time and attendance for the MA staff.
• Evaluate MA staff performance and recommend promotions/discipline.
• Fill in as Medical Assistant when needed.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
