Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks a Senior Operational Excellence Consultant to lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives, coach teams, and drive cross-functional process improvements across the system. You will facilitate Kaizen events, design metrics, and partner with leaders to remove barriers to achieve strategic goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, a Black Belt, and 5+ years of Lean Six Sigma in healthcare, with experience mentoring Black/Green Belts and delivering training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Systems, Public Health, Nursing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of Lean Six Sigma and project experience with 2 years progressive leadership in a healthcare setting.
• A minimum of 3 years experience serving as an Operational Excellence Advisor with Adventist HealthCare.
• Experience training Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven ability to act as a leadership change agent and challenge current thinking.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates improvement teams through the life cycle of a project.
• Executes on Rapid Improvement events and develops analytics/ KPIs.
• Communicates progress with sponsors and team members; identifies barriers and strategies.
• Coaches Quality Advisors and leadership; mentors Black Belts and Green Belts.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
• Instructs Lean Six Sigma training programs (white to black belt).
