Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in the United States seeks a healthcare operations professional to manage daily operations of one or two physician offices or a single ambulatory surgery center. You will supervise staff, hire, train, and evaluate performance while monitoring financial and revenue cycle metrics to optimize operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and leadership to meet organizational goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and address patient satisfaction and quality

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a practice/healthcare setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day to day operations of the physician practice, including front and back office functions, or ambulatory surgery center.
• Supervises staff, resolves problems and implements approved disciplinary action. Interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations.
• Manages and monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics, including staff hours, resource allocation, expense budget, patient volumes, and the revenue cycle process.
• Responsible for monitoring patient satisfaction reports, identifying variances from standard, addressing and resolving patient complaints.
• Responsible for quality and performance improvement by monitoring metrics and addressing deficiencies.
• Works collaboratively with physicians, leadership and health professionals to accomplish organization and practice/ambulatory surgery center goals.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
