Job summary

USPack is seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator to support delivery operations for healthcare clients in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate Independent Contractor couriers to ensure timely, compliant transport of healthcare shipments, adhering to HIPAA, FDA guidelines, and GDP.

Key duties include monitoring dispatch boards, assigning routes, providing real-time support, addressing delays, inspecting shipments, keeping custody records, onboarding new ICs, and maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred or HS diploma with equivalent experience.
• Certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens, HAZMAT or temperature-controlled packaging are a plus.
• Experience in healthcare logistics, courier services, or supply chain support preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor dispatch boards to ensure route coverage and on-time healthcare deliveries.
• Coordinate route assignments and inform Dispatch and ICs, reconcile route sheets.
• Provide real-time support to ICs during active deliveries and troubleshoot issues.
• Address delays, service interruptions, and compliance concerns with management and clients.
• Reroute or execute deliveries to address emergencies or escalations.
• Receive, unpack, and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick and pack orders according to shipment requirements.
• Review inventory to keep assets organized and defect-free.
• Inspect vehicle compliance with healthcare requirements (insulation, refrigeration, safety).
• Verify IC compliance with HIPAA, PPE, and client protocols.
• Conduct cold chain checks and document conditions.
• Maintain chain-of-custody records and delivery confirmations.
• Complete daily client reports and compliance logs; prepare route performance reports.
• Assist with onboarding new ICs and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
• Maintain IC documentation including insurance, licenses, and background checks.
• Follow procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; perform other duties as assigned.
