Job summary

USPack is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee transportation services for a defined client group. You will contract and coordinate Independent Contractors to deliver products from client locations to designated stops, while managing relationships and ensuring service quality.

Responsibilities include client meetings, issue resolution, and ICC activities, with a focus on on-time delivery, margin control, and adherence to SOPs. Travel is required up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience with independent contractors and logistics.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel 50% to client locations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client regularly to build relationships and document visits.
• Review OTD, Piece Scan and Location Scan.
• Create, review, and resolve service issues using Delivery Incident Reports (DIRs).
• Manage driver payments and IC activities.
• Plan route coverage and coordinate with ICs.
• Ensure all services are performed in a timely manner.
• Monitor gross margin to meet budget targets.
