One Medical in Boston, MA is hiring a Lab Services Specialist/ Member Support Specialist Trainee. You will receive full training in phlebotomy and clinical procedures, with no prior phlebotomy experience required.

The role combines patient care support, front-desk duties and office coordination as you train toward venipuncture and lab tasks. This full-time position offers a competitive starting hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package, with onboarding and state-required education

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple software systems.
• Experience working in collaborative, diverse teams; remote teams a plus.
• Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Use impeccable C-I-CARE framework in patient interactions for a positive in-office experience.
• Perform front of house duties including check-in/check-out and insurance verification.
• Support team development through team huddles and problem solving.
• Master technology suite (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, 1Life EMR) for daily tasks and patient interaction.
• Open/close duties and maintain office spaces; restock supplies and organize.
• Complete required clinical training and state education/certifications within six months.
