Job summary

InterCare Community Health Network is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist in Bangor, MI. You will provide advanced technical support, manage AD and email systems, and help maintain secure, compliant IT services for multiple clinic locations.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, system monitoring, and collaboration with vendors and senior IT staff. Evening coverage may be required; travel between clinic locations is possible.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues escalated from entry-level staff.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
• Administer email systems (Microsoft 365) and ensure secure configurations.
• Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connections.
• Assist with server maintenance, backups, and patch management.
• Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Conduct periodic audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades and hardware refreshes.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
• Generate reports on system performance and security compliance.
• Provide training to entry-level IT staff.
• Conduct user training on new technologies and security best practices.
