Job summary

Progressive Community Health Centers is seeking an IT Specialist for our Lisbon Avenue Health Center in Milwaukee, WI. This in-person role focuses on technical assistance, setup, and end-user support across Windows desktops, Microsoft software, IP phones, and related equipment.

You will help staff resolve IT issues, maintain inventory, and assist with Epic and softphone tasks. A Wisconsin driver’s license for local travel is required; vaccination is mandatory for all staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT role.
• At least 1 year of IT-related education or an IT certificate (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco).
• Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license for local travel between sites.
• Role is in-person, onsite at Lisbon Avenue Health Center.
• Vaccination is mandatory for all employees, providers and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, support, and setup for computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Respond to a variety of technology issues, isolate problems, and implement solutions.
• Support staff with Windows desktops, Microsoft software, IP phones, and peripheral IT equipment.
• Install and train users on software and perform basic troubleshooting of software issues.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory, storage, and staff move updates.
• Conduct IT-related visits to remote sites as needed for support.
