Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical support for staff on all company-supported applications, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and escalate to IT leadership when needed.

This role requires working independently with minimal supervision and is based in Pennsylvania, with travel up to 40% of the time to support facilities. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a relevant field and experience with Windows, Active Directory, and imaging

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in application, technical support, desktop, helpdesk, or systems administration.
Experience supporting Windows-based users in a Microsoft Active Directory Domain environment.
Imaging desktops and laptops.
Ability to work independently with little or no direction and with management, staff, vendors and consultants.
Experience troubleshooting basic LAN/WAN issues.
Pennsylvania Candidates: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot problems related to computer equipment, OS software, applications, and hardware.
Maintain hardware and software inventory for responsible facilities.
Log and track calls using a problem management database and maintain history records.
Develop training documents for new users as needed.
Provide a high level of service and customer satisfaction to end users.
Formulate recommendations regarding end user hardware and software purchases.
Manage antivirus/spyware software and updates.
Travel up to 40% of the time to fulfill responsibilities.
Own region-wide hardware asset management.
