Job summary

Emerus is seeking an IT Support professional to provide technical help to staff on company applications, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and escalate when needed. The role requires independent work under the Director of IT and involves regional hardware asset management.

Responsibilities include inventory, logging calls, creating user training, and maintaining high service levels. Travel up to 40% is required, with confidentiality and security policy adherence as core expectations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in application, technical support, desktop, helpdesk, or systems administration.
• Experience supporting Windows based users in a Microsoft Active Directory Domain environment required.
• Experience Imaging desktops and laptops
• Must be able to work independently with little or no direction. Must also be able to work closely with all levels of management, staff, vendors and consultants
• Experience troubleshooting basic LAN\WAN issues
• Pennsylvania Candidates: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance), & Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within the last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems relating to computer equipment operating system software, application software, and hardware
• Maintain hardware and software inventory for responsible facilities
• Log and track calls using problem management database and maintain history records and related problems documentation.
• Develop training documents to new users as needed
• Provide a high level of service and customer satisfaction to the end user
• Formulate recommendations regarding company end user hardware and software purchases
• Manage antivirus/spyware software and updates
• Travel up to 40% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position required.
• Ownership of region-wide hardware asset management
