Job summary

RL Canning is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to deliver comprehensive hardware and software support for desktop and laptop workstations in a large-scale healthcare setting. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, system rollouts, and PC installations to ensure smooth IT operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong break/fix skills for Windows 11 and macOS, excellent user communication, and the ability to travel between locations as needed. CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop hardware and software support in a healthcare or large-scale environment.
• Proficient in Windows 11 and macOS troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and end-user support skills.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktop systems and related equipment.
• Manage desktop environments to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-efficient service delivery.
• Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs on desktops and laptops.
• Communicate effectively with end users to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Support multiple locations as needed and participate in IT projects.
