Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior IT Service Delivery Manager to drive design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of IT service delivery in a healthcare context. You will coordinate across technology teams, clinicians, and external vendors to ensure alignment with healthcare standards and operational goals.

You will oversee data integration, AI governance, and risk assessments, while guiding incident management in a 24/7 environment and ensuring patient privacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business systems analysis or IT service delivery management.
• 3+ years in a healthcare IT environment managing large-scale projects.
• 3+ years with healthcare IT systems (EMR/HIS or devices).
• 3+ years with healthcare regulations (HIPAA/HITECH) and patient data security.
• 3+ years in ITIL/incident management or related service frameworks.
• Willingness to travel ~10% annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and continuous improvement of IT service delivery processes for healthcare.
• Serve as liaison between technology teams and healthcare stakeholders.
• Drive data integration, portfolio management, and AI governance.
• Oversee 24/7 incident management to minimize patient care disruption.
• Conduct root cause analyses for ongoing improvements and automation.
• Collaborate on risk assessments, security updates, and audits.
• Sponsor IT service delivery projects and manage change management.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure procurement and SLAs.
• Maintain service performance reporting and drive quality improvements.
