Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Delivery Consultant to lead end-to-end software engagements for healthcare clients. The role requires managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, QA, and vendors.

The candidate will drive delivery plans, agile ceremonies, risk management, and executive communications while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data privacy.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience leading end-to-end software development engagements.
• 5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT or healthcare software delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies with the ability to select the right approach for each client.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience managing distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple clients.
• Excellent client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience with engagement budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and utilization tracking.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as the engagement requires.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of client SDLC engagements from requirements to post-go-live support.
• Lead multiple concurrent healthcare client engagements ensuring scope, budget, and timeline commitments are met.
• Serve as the primary delivery contact for client sponsors and executives, coordinating with architects, developers, QA, and vendors.
• Develop engagement plans, schedules, and status reports using Jira and Smartsheet.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and tailor delivery models to client maturity.
• Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans; elevate to client leadership early.
• Monitor KPIs and provide executive-ready updates to client and internal leadership.
• Ensure delivery adheres to HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
• Coordinate UAT, system integration testing, and production deployments.
• Drive continuous improvement and reusable delivery practices across engagements.
• Manage engagement budgets, forecasts, billing milestones, and resource profitability.
• Support business development with proposals, effort estimates, SOWs, and discovery workshops.
