Universal Health Services is hiring an IT Manager for Fremont Hospital. The role oversees IT operations, including IS, LAN, servers, and workstations, and collaborates with department managers to implement efficient systems.

The incumbent will develop policies that meet regulatory needs and maintain confidentiality, while leading the IT department and engaging with cross‑department teams. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent, 5+ years of IT experience, and supervisory

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• At least five years of IT experience.
• One year in a supervisory role preferred.
• IT certification preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital operations and CPI training within 90 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn hospital software.
• Strong communication and policy documentation skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee and manage IT support and service operations across Information Systems, LAN, network servers, AS400/HMS servers, telephone systems, and all hospital workstations.
• Collaborate with department managers to develop new systems and applications for greater operational efficiency and business processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that meet regulatory and confidentiality requirements.
• Lead the IT department and maintain assets; be part of the hospital leadership team.
• Monitor performance improvement plans for the department and participate in other duties as assigned.
