Job summary

Universal Healthcare IPA, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA seeks an IT Manager to oversee daily IT operations, cybersecurity, vendor management, and regulatory compliance in a hybrid environment.

You will lead infrastructure, systems, and services to ensure reliable, secure technology solutions that support clinical and administrative needs. The role requires 5+ years of IT experience with supervisory responsibilities, strong project management, and knowledge of HIPAA and HITRUST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience supporting network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud environments, and enterprise apps.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and information security best practices.
• Experience with HITRUST certification requirements is a plus.
• Experience managing vendor relationships, procurement, and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure.
• Coordinate IT initiatives, upgrades, and projects.
• Monitor performance and reliability of technology systems.
• Maintain servers, networks, cloud envs, and applications.
• Manage email, VOIP, and collaboration platforms.
