UF Information Technology (UFIT) seeks an IT Generalist I to join the UF Student Health Care Center’s Student Life Technology Services. You will provide technical support and systems administration for clinical care, pharmacy, and administrative operations, collaborating with UFIT, UF Health IT, and vendors to protect patient information.

The role covers end-user computing, Active Directory and cloud endpoints, Microsoft 365 services, and technology projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds.
• Requires walking, bending, and crouching to install devices in offices or labs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, telephony, and related peripherals.
• Diagnose hardware, operating system, application, authentication, and connectivity problems; resolve routine and moderately complex incidents using independent technical judgment.
• Administer SL/SHCC Active Directory OUs, computer objects, authorized user and security group changes, and departmental access permissions within delegated rights.
• Configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot departmental Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Support Microsoft 365 services and onboarding, role changes, and access lifecycle tasks.
• Evaluate user needs and assist with planning and implementation of OS upgrades and device refreshes.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory, lifecycle, and support records; develop procedures and user tip sheets.
