Job summary

The Orthopaedic Institute Gainesville, FL is seeking an IT Specialist to provide hands-on Tier 1 and 2 support for end-user devices, apps, and clinical systems. You will troubleshoot issues, deploy equipment, and support user accounts and services while working with physicians and clinical staff.

Responsibilities include Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, Intune, and EHR/EMR–related applications. Travel to Florida locations and HIPAA/security-compliant operations are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional IT support experience in business or healthcare environments.
• Strong troubleshooting of Windows desktops/laptops in enterprise settings.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to physicians, clinical staff, and end users.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows PCs, iPads, printers, and other equipment.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments, AD/Entra ID, and mobile devices (Intune).
• Assist with clinical applications (EHR/EMR, PACS) and related systems.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ITSM platform and maintain knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with vendors and participate in deployments, moves, and refreshes.
• Maintain security compliance, HIPAA, and data protection practices.
