Job summary

Revel Staffing is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support and maintain desktops, hardware, software, and peripherals in a healthcare setting. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading systems while ensuring high workstation performance and privacy compliance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues in person, by phone, email, or ticketing system, supporting EMR systems, Cisco VOIP, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve problems promptly.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of PC and desktop hardware.
• Solid experience with Windows, Office 365, and desktop software.
• Experience supporting Electronic Medical Record systems preferred.
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting computer equipment, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
• Team-oriented in a collaborative healthcare environment.
• Some college-level coursework in CS/IT preferred.
• HIPAA training/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain desktop computers, laptops, software, hardware, and peripherals.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade computer systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user-access issues.
• Provide end-user assistance in person, by phone, email, or ticketing/work order system.
• Support Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Electronic Medical Record systems.
• Assist with Cisco VOIP phone system support.
• Work with network cabling, jacks, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Maintain inventory records and documentation for break/fix activity.
• Assist with training materials, user guides, and instructional documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow healthcare privacy and security standards.
