Job summary

Riverwood Healthcare Center is seeking a Clinical Application Analyst to support electronic medical record and other healthcare technology systems. The role focuses on design, build, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure reliable, user-friendly applications that align with organizational goals.

The analyst serves as a liaison between clinical, operational, financial, vendor, and IT teams, promoting patient safety and efficiency in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in a related field; related healthcare IT experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3 years relevant healthcare, clinical systems, revenue cycle, information technology, or application-support experience.
• Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all enhancement requests are being addressed in a timely fashion.
• Takes ownership of reported application issues and follows through until resolved or escalated.
• Participates in cross-application testing with system changes.
• Reviews and completes new build enhancements as appropriate.
• Continues education of systems and applications by collaborating with operational owners and senior staff.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for system issues.
• Maintains appropriate application access and security practices.
