The Ohio State University is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst within Health System Shared Services to support planning, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems that improve patient care and operations.

Under general supervision, this position collaborates with patient care services to support the planning, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical information systems that enhance clinical practice, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes. The role serves as a resource for clinical applications, providing support for new systems, software upgrades, and ongoing system optimization.
The position assists with the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of clinical system solutions, including the development of functional specifications and assessment of workflow impacts. Working closely with business partners, IT teams, and clinical staff, the analyst helps facilitate system adoption, supports change management efforts, and contributes to end-user training to ensure effective utilization of clinical applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, or a related field and two years of experience in Information Technology, clinical operations, or a combination of both. Experience gathering business requirements, supporting system implementations, and developing technical or user documentation. Strong communication skills and knowledge of hospital systems and workflows. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to team members and end users.
