Job summary

Napa Post Acute is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources / Payroll Coordinator in Napa, CA to support staffing, onboarding, employee records, payroll processing, and compliance. This role collaborates with facility leadership and corporate HR to keep the team fully staffed and compliant while maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
• Experience in staffing, payroll, HR, recruiting, or onboarding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities and job postings.
• Screen candidates and schedule interviews.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
• Process employment status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Assist employees with benefit enrollment and HR-related questions.
• Partner with leadership and corporate HR on employee relations matters.
• Support workers' compensation and leave administration processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain HR compliance standards.
• Coordinate new hire orientation programs.
• Track employee training, certifications, and in-service attendance.
• Schedule required in-services and compliance education.
• Assist with facility survey preparation and regulatory readiness.
• Coordinate employee health screenings and required testing.
