Job summary

Napa Post Acute in Napa, CA is seeking an organized Human Resources / Payroll Coordinator to support staffing, onboarding, payroll, and compliance for our skilled nursing team. This role partners with the Administrator, DON, and HR to keep the facility fully staffed and compliant while fostering a positive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of administrative HR experience, is proficient with Microsoft Office, and can handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
• Experience in staffing, payroll, HR, recruiting, or employee onboarding.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities and job postings.
• Screen candidates and schedule interviews.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to employee inquiries professionally and promptly.
