Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an HR Coordinator in the Naugatuck, CT area for a temporary/contract assignment. The role focuses on onboarding and employee support, working with the HR team to manage paperwork and data in ADP.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information while providing responsive HR assistance across onboarding and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years HR experience with onboarding experience preferred.
• Healthcare or related field experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP or another HRIS preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and onboarding compliance requirements.
• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work with and support people at all levels.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding process for new employees.
• Coordinate and track pre-employment paperwork and documentation.
• Process and monitor background checks and other pre-employment requirements.
• Assist with new hire setup and employee information in ADP.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Serve as a resource for employees and assist with HR questions.
• Support HR-related communications and administrative tasks.
• Assist with recruiting and hiring coordination as needed.
• Help ensure onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
• Assist with additional HR projects and responsibilities as needed.
