Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is partnering with a respected nonprofit in New Britain, CT to hire an HR/Payroll Specialist. You will process payroll, handle onboarding/offboarding, maintain HRIS data, and support benefits administration in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADP and payroll processing.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding to ensure seamless employee experience.
• Maintain employee records, administer benefits-related updates, and manage HRIS data.
• Partner with department managers on employee relations, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
• Support day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
