Job summary

Americhem is seeking a Business Development Manager - Healthcare to drive growth by translating customer needs into competitive polymer solutions. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and advance opportunities from lead to close.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will develop value propositions, manage a robust pipeline, and represent Americhem at industry events to expand the healthcare market footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in business development, technical sales, or commercial strategy in plastics, polymer, or chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with masterbatch, compounding, or specialty material solutions preferred.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify unmet customer needs, market gaps, and opportunities to support strategic priorities.
• Develop new business opportunities with prospective customers, applications, markets, and partnerships.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline from lead generation through commercialization and close.
• Develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to understand business needs and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, and Operations to commercialize customer-driven solutions.
• Develop customer value propositions, business cases, and commercialization plans.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer shifts to provide market intelligence.
• Represent Americhem with customers and at industry events to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
