Job summary

Americhem is seeking an Account Manager – Healthcare to drive revenue growth by managing large resin-producer accounts and expanding opportunities across the organization.

This role requires a technically strong professional with a plastics or materials engineering background who can translate customer needs into actionable solutions, collaborate with R&D and operations, and maintain strong, long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Plastics Engineering or a related Engineering discipline is required.
• 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, inside sales or technical sales within plastics/polymer/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with CRM tools and managing a high volume of accounts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers via in-person visits, phone, email, and virtual meetings to maintain active relationships.
• Develop "high, wide and deep" relationships with customers.
• Meet commercial KPIs including volume growth and on-time payments.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to follow up on leads and campaigns.
• Provide technical guidance and material recommendations based on customer requirements.
• Translate customer needs into internal development directions and coordinate with R&D/operations.
