Job summary

Americhem, a global designer and manufacturer of color masterbatch and engineered materials, seeks a Business Development Manager - Healthcare to drive growth by identifying new opportunities aligned with strategic goals. You will translate technical solutions into competitive advantages and build strategic partnerships across markets.

Travel up to 50% and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in business development, technical sales, or commercial strategy - ideally within plastics, polymer, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
• Proven success growing customer relationships, executing strategic deals, and collaborating cross-functionally in B2B environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify unmet customer needs, market gaps, and opportunities to support strategic priorities.
• Develop new business opportunities by identifying prospective customers, applications, markets, and partnerships.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities from lead generation through close.
• Develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to understand business needs and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, and Operations to develop customer-driven solutions.
• Develop customer value propositions, business cases, and commercialization plans translating market opportunities into growth.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, technology developments, and customer shifts for market intelligence.
• Represent Americhem with customers and at industry events to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
