Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami is seeking a front desk/telephone operator to support a busy medical office. You will answer calls, categorize inquiries, and route them to the appropriate area, while maintaining patient records and accurate insurance information.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and efficient scheduling of appointments. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma is expected.

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Answers telephone promptly and forwards calls to the appropriate area.
• Enters patient demographics and insurance data in the computer.
• Verifies insurance information, collects referrals and authorizations as documented.
• Checks forms for completeness.
• Schedules appointments and records them as per policy.
• Manages daily receipts and deposits to cashiers.
• Maintains filing and mail distribution and reconciles petty cash.
