Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 1 to provide clerical support in a physician office, clinic, or similar setting. You will help patients with check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone inquiries, delivering patient-centered care.

Key duties include collecting and verifying insurance and demographics, directing patients to waiting areas, processing payments, posting charges, and generating daily payment reports.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient duties: check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, answering phones.
• Register patients by collecting and verifying insurance information and demographics.
• Accept payments for physician/clinic services and post charges with correct codes.
• Generate daily payment reports and reconcile cash drawer.
• Provide accurate information to patients and external entities; assist with financial arrangements as needed.
• Assist with medical records duties as requested.
