The role requires handling registrations, insurance verification, pre-registration, and phone support to address patient needs with professionalism. It offers a typical weekday schedule and exposure to healthcare operations in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Skills in operating business office machines.
• Skills in answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

• Fixing charts/mistakes
• Phreesia appointment validations; cancellation/reschedules

• Recognize, greet, and register patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner
