You will welcome patients, verify demographics and insurance, register walk-ins, collect payments, and schedule future appointments. The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and customer service within a hospital-like clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum < 1 year of customer service or front desk experience preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients at the clinic front desk and assist with check-in.
• Communicate wait times and delays to patients.
• Verify demographic and insurance information at check-in.
• Complete patient registration for walk-ins at reception.
• Collect out-of-pocket responsibilities (deductibles, copays, co-insurance).
• Schedule next appointments at checkout (cast/measure, delivery, follow up, prosthetic care plan).
• Assist in patient experience programs and resources as a clinic concierge.
• Support RCM team by obtaining missing information from patients.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records.
