Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Engineering and Maintenance Department. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Plant Operations, you will perform a range of administrative and lead maintenance tasks and coordinate special projects.

The role operates on a 12-hour shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with alternating weeks. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with 2 years of progressive healthcare facility maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational courses preferred.
• 2 years of progressive maintenance experience in a healthcare facility.
• Knowledge of carpentry, flooring, and basic TV repair is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of repair parts for patient transport equipment and related items.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Coordinate installations and renovations of building materials and equipment.
• Complete and document work orders, requisitions, and daily reports.
• Support Maintenance Lead and Assistant Director with special projects.
