Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering and Maintenance Department on a 12-hour shift (7:00 AM-7:30 PM). You will coordinate and lead maintenance projects, inspect and repair patient transport equipment, TVs and furnishings, and manage daily work orders.

Under supervision, you will perform building repairs, inventory maintenance, and support minor contract work, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of repair parts for patient transport equipment, patient TVs, and furniture.
• Performs and documents maintenance work orders daily.
• Repairs and renovates as needed, including partitions, ceilings and floors.
• Assists with equipment installations and minor contract repairs.
• Keeps accurate logs and reports related to maintenance activities.
