Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a Healthcare Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations in an acute care setting and lead a culinary team in Phoenix. You will prepare or direct the preparation of meals per corporate guidelines, ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive kitchen management, hands-on leadership, and strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation. Extensive catering and hospital culinary experience are highly valued.

Competenze

• A.S. or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience is a plus.
• Hospital/Healthcare culinary experience preferred.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desired.
• Hands-on chef experience required.
• Knowledge of food trends, cost controls, and presentation.
• Proficiency with computer tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Mansioni

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; uses daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation per company standards.
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
• Maintains inventory to ensure product availability and cost controls.
• Makes decisions on leftover food utilization within company guidelines.
• Complies with health and safety regulations and audits.
• Participates in departmental meetings and professional development.
