You will lead menu plans, standards, and staff training to drive patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

The role requires hands-on cooking leadership, high-volume management, and strong focus on sanitation, cost controls, and regulatory compliance within healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training.
• Hospital/Healthcare culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards, and maintains daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, and sanitation according to standards.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas; ensures schedules are followed.
• Manages inventory of food and supplies within guidelines to ensure availability.
• Decides on leftover food utilization within company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Adheres to safety policies and participates in meetings and training.
