Job summary
Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Healthcare Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations in an acute care setting in Phoenix, AZ. You will direct meal preparation in line with corporate programs and guidelines and lead a team of culinary professionals.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management, hospital/healthcare experience, and hands-on chef leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
- Hospital/Healthcare culinary experience preferred.
- Hands-on chef leadership is required.
- ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food safety, and cost controls.
Responsibilities
- Plans regular and modified menus per guidelines.
- Trains staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation.
- Maintains cleaning schedules and equipment upkeep.
- Manages inventory and cost controls.
- Ensures compliance with health regulations and audits.
